In the spirit of Christmas, the NGO ‘Sounds of Silence’ is once again captivating hearts with its remarkable initiative- The 100 Santa Project. This heart-warming project aims to spread joy to underprivileged children across India.

For several years now, the 100 Santa Project has served as a beacon of hope, setting the bar higher with each passing year. Under the guidance of the visionary founder, Sumit Singh Gandhi, this initiative has become a symbol of compassion and inclusivity.

On Christmas Eve, a hundred dedicated volunteers, transformed into jolly Santas, took to the streets of cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, and Kolkata. Each Santa carried a hundred gifts, carefully selected to bring smiles and warmth to the faces of deserving children.

“Christmas is a time for spreading love and happiness,” remarks Sumit Singh Gandhi, the passionate founder of Sounds of Silence.

“Through the 100 Santa Project, we aim to create joyful memories for these children this Christmas,” adds Sumit.

The members of Sounds of Silence, who eagerly participate year after year, are touched by the profound impact the project has on both the children and the volunteers.

The project lead, Aashi Thakkar, shared her heartfelt experience, stating, “Being part of the 100 Santa Project has been a truly transformative experience. The joy on the children's faces and the gratitude are indescribable. It is an honour to be a part of such a brilliant initiative. We spend days hunting for these gifts, and the volunteers pull all-nighters packaging them by hand. It is truly heart-warming.”

The project's coordinator, Akanksha Singh, expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “Becoming Santa Claus for a day and witnessing the happiness we bring to these children is a privilege. The knowledge that we are also choosing and wrapping these gifts ourselves makes this experience even more rewarding. It's an incredible feeling.”
