In the run-up to the Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024, 24 candidates from various political parties have submitted their nomination papers across 18 assembly constituencies in Thane district. Additionally, a total of 182 nomination forms have been distributed to candidates.

From the Bhiwandi Assembly Constituency (134), six nomination forms were distributed. In Shahapur (135), two candidates from the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar group) Daulat Bhika Daroda and Sharmila Amol Shelke submitted their nominations to Election Returning Officer Rahul Mundke. Eleven nomination papers were issued in Shahapur.

In Bhiwandi West (136), four candidates, including Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) nominees Meghna Mahesh Chowghule and Mahesh Prabhakar Chowghule, and two independents, Nishal Santosh Bhoir and Prakash Rajaram Tavare, filed their nomination papers with Election Returning Officer Uday Kisve. The constituency saw the distribution of 18 nomination forms.

 The Bhiwandi East Assembly Constituency (137) recorded the distribution of five nomination papers. Meanwhile, in Kalyan West (138), Samata Party candidate Ranjani Arun Devlekar, Nirbhay Maharashtra Party candidate Sandeep Mahadev Naik, and two independent candidates, Monika Mohan Panve and Ashwini Pratap Mokase, filed their papers with Election Returning Officer Rohit Rajput Arj. Kalyan West witnessed the issuance of 26 nomination forms.

In the Murbad Assembly Constituency (139), independent candidate Sharad Laxman Patil submitted his nomination, with 12 forms distributed in total. From the Ambernath Constituency (140), independent candidate Devidas Anandrao Nikam filed his nomination, with 13 papers issued.

Two independent candidates, Anil Jayaramdas Totani and Puja Santosh Valmiki, submitted their nomination papers from Ulhasnagar (141), where eight nomination forms were distributed. In Kalyan East (142), BJP candidate Sulabha Ganpat Gaikwad and two independents, Vivek Srikant Pandey and Sachin Dattatray Pote, submitted their papers. Nineteen forms were distributed in the constituency.

Other constituencies also saw nomination activities: Dombivli (143) distributed two papers, Kalyan Rural (144) eight papers, and Mira Bhayander (145) ten papers. In Ovala Majiwada (146), Shiv Sena (Shinde group) candidate Pratap Baburao Sarnaik, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) candidate Naresh Ratan Manera, and independent Sunil Chikane filed their nominations. Nine nomination papers were distributed there.

Kopri Pachpakhadi (147) distributed three papers, while in Thane (148), Rashtriya Maratha Party candidate Hindurao Dadu Patil and Rashtriya Congress Party (Sharad Pawar Group) candidate Deepak Dagdusa Kshatriya filed their nominations. Three forms were issued. Kalwa-Mumbra (149) had ten nomination papers distributed, and in Airoli (150), independent Rajeev Kondiba Bhosale and Maharashtra Swarajya Party candidate Ankush Sakharam Kadam submitted their papers. Eleven forms were issued in Airoli.

Lastly, in Belapur (151), eight nomination papers were distributed.
