324 nomination papers distributed across 18 assembly constituencies in Thane district

The process for filing nominations for the Thane Assembly Election 2024 has begun, with a total of 324 nomination papers distributed across 18 assembly constituencies. Three candidates officially submitted their nomination forms on the first day.

Among those who submitted their nominations were Independent candidate Prafulla Raghunath Nanote from the 142 Kalyan East Assembly Constituency filed his nomination with Election Returning Officer Ramesh Misal.

Yakshit Patel of the Right to Recall Party submitted his nomination for the 148 Thane Assembly Constituency to Election Returning Officer Urmila Patil.

Independent candidate Guru Narasimha Suryavanshi from the 151 Belapur Assembly Constituency filed his nomination with Election Returning Officer Ashwini Patil.

141 Ulhasnagar Assembly Constituency: 2 applications

142 Kalyan East Assembly Constituency: 21 applications
