Ajit Karbhari’s unique sky-high tribute to Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

In an extraordinary tribute, Ajit Karbhari, son of renowned wrestler Kai Baliram Karbhari from Kolivali village, Kalyan, has become the first Indian citizen to unfurl the image of Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at a staggering height of 5,100 meters (16,732 feet).

The image was flown aboard an L-410 aircraft in -36°C temperatures at Aerograd Kolomna, in Russia, in an awe-inspiring tribute to the legendary Maratha king.

Ajit Karbhari, who achieved this World Record, carried out the daring feat under the expert guidance of Colonel Kostya Krivosheev, a 27,000-jump master and Chief Skydive Instructor for the Russian Army, along with Rahul Desai, a renowned skydiving instructor from the United States Parachute Association (USA).

The remarkable achievement not only demonstrates Ajit Karbhari’s courage and dedication but also honours Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in an unprecedented manner, soaring high above the earth. His efforts have been met with admiration and praise from across the globe, as the image of Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj flew proudly in the skies, symbolising both bravery and devotion.
