BNCMC marks World Disability Day with job fair for differently-abled

On the occasion of World Disability Day, Bhiwandi-Nizampur City Municipal Corporation (BNCMC) organized a special employment fair aimed at providing job opportunities to individuals with disabilities, including those who have hearing impaired, or have other physical challenges. The fair, held at the Late  Rajaiah Gajengi Auditorium, focused on empowering individuals between the ages of 18 and 35.

The event was inaugurated by BNCMC Commissioner and Administrator Ajay Vaidya, highlighting the importance of inclusivity in the workforce and the municipal corporation’s commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities. The employment fair was attended by a distinguished group of officials, including Dr. Anuradha Babar, Deputy Commissioner of Education, Dnyaneshwar Rathod, District Entrepreneur Centre Taluka Coordinator, and representatives from Youth for Jobs, including Suryakant Phadke, Priyali Dekate, Sameer Bhosale, and Praveen Dhanave.

Also present were Assistant Commissioner of the Social Welfare Department Milind Palasule, Public Relations Officer Shrikant Pardeshi, Head of Social Welfare Department Nitesh Chaudhary, and Kailas Patil from the Dindayal Upadhyay National Civil Employment Department, along with other department heads.
