Monsoon Woes: Uran Tehsil Office's Leaking Roof Poses Danger to Visitors

Uran: The Uran Tehsil Office is grappling with significant issues due to water leakage from the RCC slab, creating hazardous conditions for people visiting the office during the monsoon season. The accumulation of water on the floor has raised fears of potential injuries from slipping.

Despite numerous complaints and appeals regarding the poor state of civic facilities at the office, the problem has persisted. Visitors to the office, who come for revenue-related and government work, are faced with inadequate amenities, including the lack of drinking water, proper toilets, and seating benches. Recent expenditure on roofing has been criticized for its lack of proper planning, resulting in ineffective coverage and continued leakage during the rainy season.

“The current state of the office is concerning, with the RCC slab visibly leaking and water accumulating on the floor, increasing the risk of slips and falls”, stated a concerned citizen.

Uran Tehsildar Dr. Uddhav Kadam has been urged to address these issues promptly.
