CIDCO Jt. MD Ganesh Deshmukh and MLA Manda Mhatre Discuss Development Strategies for Belapur

In a significant meeting focused on the ongoing development of Navi Mumbai, CIDCO Joint Managing Director Ganesh Deshmukh convened with MLA Manda Mhatre to discuss various issues affecting the Belapur constituency. The meeting highlighted the progress made in the region, particularly through the development initiatives undertaken by MLA Manda Mhatre during her tenure from 2014 to 2019 and her current term in 2024.

The meeting, attended by trustees and members from local temples including Prajapati Mandir, Saraswati Dham Mandir, Durga Mata Mandir, Sewalal Mandir, and Ram Mandir, served as a platform to review pending development works and address community concerns.

Key topics discussed included the status of important projects in Navi Mumbai, with a particular focus on Belapur, Seawoods, Nerul, Juinagar, Sanpada, Turbhe, and Vashi.

Notable updates included the completion of the tender for the Mahila Bal Bhavan, the transfer of all plots of religious places in Navi Mumbai to their respective organizations at the designated rates, and the reservation of new small plots for religious purposes.

Additionally, the meeting addressed the transfer of 12 acres of land adjacent to Sarsole Palm Beach to the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation for the construction of a butterfly garden.

Provisions for a community temple for local residents in Karave Gaon and Karave Nagar, as well as a fish market in Karave Gaon, were also discussed. Plans for a senior citizen recreation centre and various facilities in Ward 107 under Nerul Sector New 50 E were raised, among other local needs.

CIDCO Jt. MD Ganesh Deshmukh responded positively to the concerns raised, assuring attendees that the issues would be resolved promptly.
