CIDCO’s Navi Mumbai Metro secures ISO certifications for Quality, environment and safety

The City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd. (CIDCO) proudly announces that its Navi Mumbai Metro, operated by Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha Metro), has achieved the prestigious ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications. These accolades recognize the metro’s commitment to excellence in Quality ManagementEnvironmental Sustainability, and Occupational Health & Safety.

The Navi Mumbai Metro is the only metro line in Maharashtra to secure all three ISO certifications within its first year of operation. These certifications, awarded by the British Standards Institution (BSI), were received by Shri Shantanu Goel, Joint Managing Director, CIDCO.

The certifications reflect Navi Mumbai Metro's proactive approach to delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable services:

  • ISO 9001:2015 emphasizes consistent quality services and customer satisfaction.
  • ISO 14001:2015 highlights sustainable practices aimed at reducing environmental impact.
