CR / WR Mega / Jumbo Block On Sunday 12th Jan

Trans- Harbour local services to be affected between Thane – Vashi / Nerul
Central Railway (CR) & Western Railway (WR) will operate Mega / Jumbo Block on its Suburban sections for carrying out various engineering and maintenance works including maintenance of tracks, signaling, and overhead equipment, that are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety on Sunday 12th January, 2025 as per the details given below:
A) Thane-Vashi / Nerul UP and DN CR Trans-Harbour Lines
From: 11.10 am to 4.10 pm
UP Trans-Harbour line services towards Thane leaving Vashi / Nerul / Panvel from 10.25 am to 4.09 pm and DN Trans-Harbour line services towards Vashi / Nerul/ Panvel leaving Thane from 10.35 am to 4.07 pm will remain cancelled.
Suburban Train services however will be available on Harbour and Fourth Corridor (BSU line / URAN) Lines during the block period.
B) Vidyavihar - Thane CR Main Lines (5th and 6th lines)
From: 8.00 am to 12.30 pm
The above block will result in diversion of UP and DN Mail/Express services as detailed below:
Following UP Mail/Express Trains arriving at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai will be diverted on the UP Fast line at Thane station and re-diverted on the 6th line at Vidyavihar station and will arrive destination 10 to 15 minutes late.
i) Train no 13201 Patna-LTT Express
ii) Train no 17221 Kakinada-LTT Express
Following DN Mail/Express Trains leaving Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai will be diverted on DN Fast line at Vidyavihar station and re-diverted on the 5th line at Thane station and will be handed over a further 10 to 15 minutes late.
i) Train no 11055 LTT-Gorakhpur Express
ii) Train no 11061 LTT-Jaynagar Pawan Express
iii) Train no 16345 LTT-Thiruvananthapuram Netravati Express
C) Santacruz - Goregaon WR UP & DN Fast Lines
From: 10.00 am to 3.00 pm
During the five hours Jumbo Block period all Fast line suburban trains will be operated on Slow line between Goregaon and Borivali stations.
Some suburban trains will remain cancelled during the block and also some of the Andheri & Borivali trains will be worked up to Goregaon on CR Harbour line.
Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
