No direct connectivity between Navi Mumbai and Mumbai

Central Railway (CR) & Western Railway (WR) will operate Mega & Jumbo Blocks respectively o­n its suburban sections for carrying out various engineering and maintenance works including maintenance of tracks, signaling, and overhead equipment, that are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety on Sunday 16th June, 2024 as per the details given below:

A) Kurla - Vashi UP & DN Harbour Lines

From: 11.10 am to 4.10 pm

UP Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Mumbai leaving Panvel / Belapur / Vashi from 10.16 am to 3.47 pm and DN Harbour line services to Vashi / Belapur / Panvel leaving CSMT Mumbai from 10.34 am to 3.36 pm will remain cancelled.

On the UP Harbour Line the Last local on the other hand before the block for CSMT Mumbai will depart Panvel at 10.05 am and the First local after the block for CSMT Mumbai will depart Panvel at 3.45 pm.

On DN Harbour Line the Last local before the block will be Panvel Local departing CSMT Mumbai at 10.18 am and the First local after the block will be Panvel Local departing CSMT Mumbai at 3.44 pm.

However, Special services will run between CSMT Mumbai and Kurla & Vashi and Panvel during the block period.

Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Trans Harbour line (Thane-Vashi/Nerul stations) from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm during the block period.

B) Matunga - Mulund UP and DN Main Fast lines

From: 11.05 am to 3.05 pm

UP Fast line services departing Thane from 10.45 am to 3.03 pm will be diverted on UP Slow line between Mulund and Matunga stations halting as per their scheduled halts and will be re-diverted on UP Fast line at Matunga before arriving at its destination 15 minutes behind schedule.

DN Fast line services departing CSMT Mumbai from 10.20 am to 2.40 pm will be diverted on DN Slow line between Matunga and Mulund stations halting as per their respective scheduled halts and fast trains beyond Thane will be re-diverted on DN Fast line at Mulund before arriving at its destination 15 minutes behind schedule.

On the UP Main Fast Line the Last local on the other hand before the block for CSMT Mumbai will be departing Ambarnath at 09.52 am and the First local after the block for CSMT Mumbai will be departing Kasara at 1.31 pm.

On DN Main Fast Line the Last local on the other hand before the block for Badlapur will be departing from CSMT Mumbai at 10.20 am and the First local after the block for Badlapur will also be departing from CSMT Mumbai at 3.03 pm.

C) Vasai Road – Bhayandar Station UP & DN Fast Lines (Night Block)

From: 11.30 pm to 4.45 am  

Western Railway has announced a Jumbo Block that will be in effect on both the UP and Down Fast lines from 11.30 pm to 4.45 am  between these two suburban stations during the night of Saturday, 15^th June to Sunday, 16^th June, 2024. During the block period, all Fast line trains will be operated on the slow line between Virar and Bhayandar/Borivali. 

WR has further decided not to carry out any Day Block over its Suburban section on Sunday
