CR / WR To Operate Mega /Jumbo Day Block On Sunday 10th Nov

Central Railway (CR) will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections (Harbour, and Main Sections) for carrying out various engineering and maintenance works that are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety on Sunday, 10th November, 2024. Western Railway (WR) too will be carrying out Jumbo Block on the same day in order to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipment. The details of both Mega and Jumbo Blocks are given below:
A) Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Chunabhatti UP & DN CR Harbour lines
From: 11.10 am to 4.40 pm
UP Harbour line Special services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai leaving Panvel / Belapur / Vashi from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm and DN Harbour line Special services to Vashi / Belapur / Panvel leaving CSMT / Vadala Road from 11.16 am to 4.47 pm will remain suspended.
However, Special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8) during the block period at a frequency of approximately 20 minutes during the block period.
Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm during block period
B) Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Bandra UP & DN CR Harbour lines
From: 11.10 am to 4.40 pm
UP Harbour line Special services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai leaving Goregaon / Bandra from 10.45 am to 5.13 pm and DN Harbour line services to Bandra/Goregaon leaving CSMT, Mumbai from 10.22 am to 4.43 pm will remain suspended.
On the UP Harbour Line the Last local before the block for CSMT Mumbai will be departing Bandra at 10.20am and the First local after the block for CSMT Mumbai will be departing Goregaon at 4.58 pm.
On DN Harbour Line the Last local on the other hand before the block will be Goregaon Local departing CSMT Mumbai at 10.22 am and the First local after the block will be Bandra Local departing CSMT Mumbai at 4.51 pm.
Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm during block period.
C) Matunga - Mulund UP and DN CR Main Fast lines
From: 11.05 am to 3.05 pm
UP Fast line services departing Thane from 10.50 am to 3.00 pm will be diverted on UP Slow line between Mulund and Matunga stations halting as per their scheduled halts and will be re-diverted on UP Fast line at Matunga before arriving at its destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
DN Fast line services departing CSMT Mumbai from 10.25 am to 2.45 pm will be diverted on DN Slow line between Matunga and Mulund stations halting as per their respective scheduled halts and fast trains beyond Thane will be re-diverted on DN Fast line at Mulund before arriving at its destination 15 minutes behind schedule
D) Mahim – Goregaon UP & DN WR Harbour lines
From: 11.00 am to 4.00 pm
Western Railway Jumbo Block of five hours will affect Suburban Harbour rail services between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) - Bandra - CSMT & CSMT/Panvel - Goregaon – CSMT/Panvel of Central Railway & some of the Churchgate - Goregaon - Churchgate Slow services will remain cancelled. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters.
