Suburban services to be affected between Thane – Vashi / Nerul Trans-Harbour lines

Central Railway (CR) will operate Mega Block o­n its suburban sections for carrying out various engineering and maintenance works including maintenance of tracks, signaling, and overhead equipment, that are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety on Sunday 24th November, 2024 as per the details given below:

 A) Thane – Vashi / Nerul UP and DN Trans-Harbour lines

From: 11.10 am to 4.10 pm  

UP and DN Trans-Harbour line services will remain suspended between Vashi / Nerul and Thane stations during the block period.

UP line services for Thane departing Vashi / Nerul / Panvel from 10.25 am to 4.09 pm and DN DN line services for Vashi / Nerul / Panvel departing Thane from 10.35 am to 4.07 pm will remain cancelled.

UP Trans-Harbour line, last local before the block for Thane will be departing Vashi at 10.15 am and first local after the block for Thane will be departing Panvel at 3.53 pm, while on DN Trans-Harbour line, last local before the block will be Panvel Local departing Thane at 10.35 am. First local after the block will be Vashi Local departing Thane at 4.19 pm.
Port line services will be available between Belapur / Nerul and Uran stations during the block period.

B) Thane – Diva UP & DN Main Line (5th and 6th lines)

From: 10.50 am to 03.20 pm

The above block will result in diversion of UP and DN Suburban services as detailed below:

All UP Fast/Semi fast Locals for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai starting with Ambarnath Local leaving Kalyan at 10.28 am to Khopli Local leaving Kalyan at 03.06 pm will be diverted on UP Slow Line between Kalyan and Thane stations and will halt at Diva, Mumbra and Kalva stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts & will further be re-diverted on UP Fast Line at Thane station and will arrive destination 10 minutes later than the scheduled arrival.

C) Diversion of UP/ DN Mail/Express Trains

The repercussions of the block between Thane – Diva UP & DN Main Line (5th and 6th lines) on UP/ DN Mail/Express trains will be as follows:

Following UP Mail/Express Trains will be diverted on UP Fast line between Kalyan and Thane stations and will arrive at destination 10 to 15 minutes behind the schedule.

Following Down Mail/Express trains will be diverted on DN Fast line between Thane and Kalyan stations and will run 10 to 15 minutes behind the schedule.

D) Short Termination/Origination of Mail/Express Services

1)    Train no. 16346 (Tiruvanathapuram-LTT Exp) Journey commencing on 22nd November, 2024  will be short terminated at Panvel station and will be cancelled between Panvel and LTT

2)    Train no. 16345 (LTT- Tiruvanathapuram Exp) Journey commencing on 24th November, 2024  will short originate from Panvel and service between LTT and Panvel will be cancelled.
