Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has expressed confidence in Ganesh Naik's victory in the upcoming Airoli Assembly elections, predicting that Naik will break his own record for the highest number of votes received. Fadnavis attributed Navi Mumbai's transformation into one of the country's most beautiful and developed cities to the well-planned leadership of Ganesh Naik, calling him the "architect" of the city's growth.
Naik, the official candidate of the Mahayuti-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is contesting from Airoli Assembly Constituency. Fadnavis, while addressing a promotional meeting for Naik, lauded his contributions to the development of Navi Mumbai, emphasizing Naik’s relentless efforts to ensure that the city’s development remained in the public's best interest. Fadnavis highlighted Naik's commitment to preserving civic amenities, protecting green belts, and safeguarding the city's development through coordination with the state government and the municipal corporation.
"People's leader Ganesh Naik is always fighting hard to protect public interests and ensure the city's growth remains uninterrupted," Fadnavis stated. "Because of his visionary leadership, Navi Mumbai has become the most beautiful city in the country, and the people of Navi Mumbai are with him”.
Fadnavis also issued a warning to the rebels in the Airoli constituency, saying they would "know their place" by November 23, the day after the election results are announced.
In addition to the campaign speech, Fadnavis unveiled the manifesto for Airoli Assembly Constituency, which outlines priorities for the constituency's development.
