A first-of-its-kind initiative by Kalyan Mandal-I

In a significant move aimed at empowering disabled employees, Mahavitaran's Kalyan Mandal-I office has taken a step forward by distributing two-wheelers to employees with disabilities. This initiative is in line with the state government’s decision to provide assistive devices to disabled workers.

Chief Engineer of Kalyan Mandal, Chandramani Mishra, was present at the event to distribute the two-wheelers to two employees who had requested the support. This marks the first time in the state that such an initiative has been implemented by the Kalyan Mandal-I office, following a government circular that outlines the distribution of assistive devices.

While speaking at the event, Chief Engineer Mishra highlighted the importance of assistive equipment in making daily office work easier for employees with physical disabilities.

“This initiative will not only make their daily tasks more manageable but also motivate them to work more effectively, despite their physical challenges,” he said. Mishra also urged other offices within the welfare circle to follow suit and ensure that the benefits of this initiative reach all eligible disabled employees.

In addition to Chief Engineer Mishra, the event was attended by key figures such as Human Resources Department Assistant Manager Sushil Pawaskar, Deputy Chief Industrial Relationship Officer Ramgopal Ahir, and other officials from the organization, including Anil Gosavi and Anil Shahajwala from Supreme TVS.

Under this initiative, four differently-abled employees in the welfare department have already received two-wheelers to assist them in their work.
