In an effort to promote safe driving as the city welcomes the New Year, the Dombivli City Traffic Sub-Division have launched an awareness campaign titled 'New Year, Safe Year'. The campaign focused on educating drivers about the importance of following traffic rules and driving safely, especially during the festive season when the roads are busier.

The officer-in-charge of the Dombivli City Traffic Branch, Shriram Patil, highlighted that the initiative received a positive response from both citizens and drivers. Many appreciated the efforts of the traffic police in raising awareness about road safety, particularly in the lead-up to New Year's celebrations when road accidents can often increase due to over-speeding and careless driving.

Patil expressed gratitude for the support from citizens, noting that such initiatives are essential in fostering a culture of responsibility on the roads, ensuring that the New Year is not only a time of celebration but also of safety and caution for all road users.
