Early morning fire in Thane society damages vehicles

A fire broke out early Wednesday morning on the premises of a residential building in Thane’s Panchpakhadi area, destroying four motorbikes and a car.

According to civic officials, the incident occurred at the Nav-Ramrajya Society, located opposite Mahadev Mandir in Chandanwadi, around 2:30 am. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Yasin Tadvi, disaster management cell chief confirmed that, in addition to the vehicles, plywood stored on the window grill of a first-floor flat was also damaged in the fire.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the blaze, while fire department officials ensured the flames were brought under control before further damage could occur.
