In a move to simplify the voting process, the Election Commission has introduced two QR codes for voters in the Airoli and Belapur constituencies. These QR codes will enable voters to quickly access their voter list details and locate their polling stations.
The first QR code allows voters to check their registration details by entering either their EPIC number or name. Once scanned, users can select either the "Name" or "Voter ID" option. For the name option, voters need to enter the correct spelling of their name and surname; for the ID option, they simply enter their EPIC number. Upon submitting the information, all relevant voter details will appear on their mobile screen. Voters are advised to note down these details for future reference.
The second QR code provides information on polling station locations. After scanning, a link will display the photo and address of the assigned polling station. A directional button is also available, enabling voters to navigate to their polling station via Google Maps.
