Navi Mumbai: Navi Mumbai resident Anuja Gupta Dahiya has recently been elected as the National Vice President of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), with a focus on supporting women and youth entrepreneurs in elevating their businesses to the next level. During the Annual General Meeting held in Nagpur in the last week of August, Anuja Gupta Dahiya, a resident of Ghansoli, was elected as the Vice President of CAIT for the PAN India body in the presence of Smriti Irani, who serves as an Adviser on the Board. Mrs. Irani emphasized the critical role of women entrepreneurs in shaping India’s economic future.

CAIT is India’s apex trade body representing and empowering 8 crore traders and over 40,000 trade associations, making it the world’s largest MSME organization for the non-corporate sector. With 16 million women-led businesses currently operating in India and creating jobs for 27 million people, their impact on the nation is significant. As this number is expected to reach 30 million in the next five years, it’s crucial to support and empower these trailblazers, in line with PM Narendra Modi's vision of Women-led Development.

Associated with CAIT since 2012, Anuja Gupta Dahiya has been instrumental in helping women transform both their personalities and careers. She supports women facing hardships by helping them grow their businesses through social networking and digital marketing. As a life coach and alternate therapy specialist, she also empowers the wives of defense personnel, leveraging her background as the spouse of a Navy Captain. Anuja stated, “I urge CAIT to take proactive steps in helping women entrepreneurs reach their full potential by integrating them into networks and providing them with the tools to succeed and scale their businesses, building a future where women in business are at the forefront of India’s success story.”
