Showcasing fine techniques, game intelligence and teamwork Iron Born FC, Community Football Club of India (CFCI) Under-19 and Waves FC outfits romped to a facile wins over their rivals MH Oranje - Atletico FC, India Rush SC and Rudra FC respectively in their latest Mumbai Super Division ties of Mumbai Football Association (MFA) League 2024-2025 at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra, Mumbai.

Pratyaksh Shetty and Vishal Singh struck two goals each, while their compatriots Soham Sawant and Aman Mishra added one each to complete Iron Born FC’s 6-0 margin of victory.

On the other hand striker Tanishq Panicker struck a brace of goals while teammates Atharva Bhandar, Rohan Jadhav, Vedant Manohar, Paul Shaju, Praneet Irde, and Dhruv Sancheti, all contributed one each in CFCI Under-19 high scoring 8-0 triumph.

It was an easy outing for Waves FC whose fluent 6-0 victory was set up by Sunny Koli and Mohit Koli two goals each. Shubham Narvekar and Aryan Bhandari added one each to seal the win.

In a closely contested encounter, Savio Fernando scored the all-important winning goal for Tarun Sporting FC narrow 1-0 win against the newly promoted  Shastri Nagar – Offshoots FC, who were crowned 2023-24 MFA First Division Champions earlier.
