Citizens living in residential areas of Sectors 39 and 40 have been facing problems due to heavy vehicles parked illegally outside Gami, Suyash Galaxy and Bageshree Colony.

The access to the road has become very narrow due to double parking on both sides due to heavy vehicles. This has made it tough for residents of buildings nearby to use their vehicles on the stretch of this road.

Anil Jadhav, a vigilant citizen, shared pictures on Twitter and also tagged the Navi Mumbai Police. He tweeted, “Heavy vehicles are parked illegally at the residential area in Kharghar Sector 39 and 40 near Gami, Suyash Galaxy and Bageshree colony. It is difficult for other vehicles to use the road. Several complaints have been made, but still, the vehicle owners are not abiding by the law.”

He added that due to the presence of heavy vehicles even school buses are not willing to use this road due to congestion.
