Indian squad for five match T20I series against England announced

Surya Kumar Yadav to lead 15 member team, Axar Patel to be his deputy
The Men’s Selection Committee led by Ajit Agarkar has picked India’s 15-member squad for the upcoming IDFC First Bank five-match T20I series against England starting from 22nd January in Kolkata.
One of the greatest exponents of white ball in the shorter format of the game and ICC T20I former no.1 ranked player Suryakumar Yadav will once again lead the Men in Blue and will be assisted by all-rounder Axar Patel ahead of his Gujarat state mate Hardik Pandya.
The series also witnesses the return of a fit again veteran pacer Mohammed Shami who last played a key role in India reaching the final of the 2023 ODI World Cup final almost 14 months ago.In-form attacking wicket keeper batter Sanju Samson along with Abhishek Sharma will open the Indian batting in the absence of aggressive Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill who have been rested for this series along with Rishabh Pant
