Janata Darbar held in Thane under the chairmanship of Forest Minister Ganesh Naik

In an effort to directly engage with the public and address their grievances, Forest Minister Ganesh Naik conducted a Janata Darbar at Raghuvanshi Hall, Jambhali Naka, Thane (West) The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with 560 citizens submitting their concerns in written form.

Various issues were raised, including problems related to social welfare, education, women's safety, water supply, tribal welfare, forest conservation, and agricultural land disputes. Some of these concerns were immediately addressed, as Minister Naik directed the relevant department officials to take prompt action.

For the remaining complaints, he instructed authorities to initiate necessary measures as per government protocols.

Speaking at the event, Minister Naik emphasised the need for solutions in crucial sectors such as education, healthcare, water, housing, sports, arts, science, and defense, stating that these are essential for India's development.

He also highlighted the governments 100-day action plan for each department, which aims to streamline governance and accelerate progress. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort, with previous Janata Darbars held in Navi Mumbai, Palghar, and Thane, and another scheduled for Friday, February 28 in Navi Mumbai.

Minister Naik also commended the police department and government officials for their well-organised efforts in maintaining law and order and efficiently managing the event. The Janata Darbar continues to be an important platform for citizens to raise their concerns and seek prompt government assistance.
