Josephians enthusiastic Republic Day celebrations

St. Joseph’s High School, CBSE celebrated the Republic Day on 26th January 2025 with great enthusiasm, pride and enthusiasm at its sprawling premises in Panvel.

On the occasion the guests of honour from different walks of life were warmly welcomed by the School Band squad and a ceremonious tree plantation was organized to garner one's responsibility towards the environment as emphasized by Chairman Dr. A. F. Pinto. The national flag was unfurled by the guests in presence of the Principal of the institute and accompanied by singing of the national anthem. A spectacular march past displayed by the various squads and houses set the tone for the celebrations.

The students on the occasion paid tributes to India’s freedom fighters and great leaders with patriotic speeches. The cultural program kicked off with the patriotic dance performed by the primary section. The melodious choir of the school stole the limelight with their singing.   The winners of the Inter house patriotic singing competition and achievers in sports were awarded. The Students were given certificates as a token of appreciation.

The invited guests encouraged and motivated the children with their inspirational speeches. The program concluded with the Vote of thanks, singing of the closing chorus and the School Anthem.

“The landmark day commemorates the adoption of the Constitution and India becoming a sovereign state declaring it a Republic on 26th January 1950. The school decked with tri-colour was abuzz with the happenings of the day. The program was a grand spectacle and motivated everyone to work conscientiously, collaborate, contribute for the progress, prosperity, harmony and peace of the country,” said Leena Verma, Principal of the CBSE institute.
