Make speed breakers

The recent completion of road resurfacing in Karanjade has significantly improved connectivity in the area, but it has also led to increased vehicle speeds, raising safety concerns among residents. Responding to these concerns, Sarpanch Mangesh Shelar, with the support of MLA Mahesh Baldi, took immediate action by following up with CIDCO to ensure measures were put in place to curb the speeding issue. As a result, speed breakers have been created at several key locations throughout Karanjade to enhance safety and prevent accidents.

For years, Karanjade residents faced the challenge of navigating pothole-filled roads, which made travel difficult and unsafe. However, after BJP Sarpanch Mangesh Shelar assumed leadership of the Karanjade Gram Panchayat, he worked tirelessly to address the road issues. His relentless efforts culminated in the approval and completion of road asphalting work across Karanjade’s sector 1 to 6, bringing much-needed relief to the community.

With the newly surfaced roads, vehicle speeds began to rise, posing a potential risk to public safety. To mitigate this, Shelar promptly took action to implement speed control measures. Under his guidance, speed breakers were created at strategic locations, including the entrance to Karanjade Colony, Sector 3 near Tata Power, Sector 5 at the Police Chowki Main Road, and Sector 6 near CIDCO.

During the on-site inspection, Karanjade Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Mangesh Shelar was joined by Sub-Sarpanch Sagar Angre, Divisional Vice President Nathabhai Bharwad, and other key community members, including Karanjade City Women President Sushma Mayekar, along with local residents Vikram More, Ajay Sable, Ravi Rajput, and Prashant Mhatre were present.
