Established with the aim of fostering a sense of togetherness among the people of Kharghar, the Kharghar Colony Forum's ‘Grand Garba Night’ has evolved into the largest Garba platform in the entire MMR region over the last eight years. During the nine days of Navratri each year, it attracts an average of 150,000 attendees. The founder, former corporator Leena Garad, asserts that the Grand Garba Night stands as the ultimate destination for Garba and Dandiya enthusiasts.

Leena Garad, the Founder of Colony Forum, informed that this year marks the eighth year of the Grand Garba night. The festivities commence with morning and evening Aarti, followed by Garba dances. The garba night starts every day from 7.30 pm and goes on till 10.30 pm.

“The Forum came forward to conduct this cultural event to establish a sense of cultural richness. We have held the Devi Sthapana and everyday there is a new shringar of Devi in different sarees. We started this for the people as we can see that there are many dandiya lovers who wait eagerly for this time of the year,” said Garad.
