Kharghar Fire Station organised a parade of fire vehicles as part of Fire Service Week. Vehicles from other fire stations also participated. Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan inaugurated the State level Fire Service Week on the occasion of the National Fire Service Day at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on April 14. The Fire Service Week, observed from April 14 to April 20, 2025, carries the theme: “Unite to Ignite: A Fire-Safe India”. The National Fire Service Day is observed on April 14 to commemorate all the brave firefighters who lost their lives during a ship explosion at the Bombay Dockyard in the year 1944.
