In a recent property expo held in Kalyan-Dombivli, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reiterated the state's ambitious target of achieving a one trillion dollar economy as part of Maharashtra's contribution to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a 5 trillion dollar economy. The expo, organized by CREDAI-MCHI Kalyan-Dombivli unit, showcased various housing options, bringing together buyers and sellers under one roof.

With soaring property prices in Mumbai and Thane, prospective buyers are increasingly turning their attention to Kalyan-Dombivli, where affordability remains relatively better. Speaking at the inauguration of the exhibition, Chief Minister Shinde highlighted the importance of such events in fulfilling the dream of homeownership for many.

Moreover, recognizing the need for urban development, Chief Minister Shinde acknowledged the proposal put forth by construction professionals for the approval of eight malas (clusters) along the nine-meter road. He emphasized the importance of initiatives like the cluster scheme, which aims to streamline development projects and infrastructure planning.

During the event, Chief Minister Shinde's birthday was also celebrated, adding a festive touch to the occasion. The expo saw the presence of various dignitaries, including President Bharat Chheda and Secretary Arvind Varak, among others.
