NCP's State President Sunil Tatkare outlines strategy
NCP State President MP Sunil Tatkare expressed confidence in the upcoming assembly elections, emphasizing the collaborative efforts of the grand alliance, which includes Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Speaking to the media, Tatkare outlined the coalition's strategy to ensure a conducive environment in key constituencies, stating, "In a day or two, we will make efforts to ensure that the environment in that constituency is properly supplemented by reaching everyone's understanding."
The grand alliance is campaigning vigorously across 288 seats, with Tatkare asserting that the coalition is fully committed to the electoral battle. He highlighted the preparations already underway in 90 to 95 percent of the seats, declaring, "Ajit Dada will be elected in Vidhan Sabha with a huge margin."
The campaign will officially kick off this evening in Kolhapur, where leaders from the coalition will pay homage to Mahalakshmi. Tatkare affirmed that the alliance is focused on maximizing their electoral strength and ensuring that all candidates are aligned with the coalition's goals.
On the topic of independent candidates, Tatkare noted the need for collaboration, saying, "In other places, if independent candidates are from BJP, Shiv Sena, or NCP, we are definitely trying to understand them." He expressed optimism about reconciling any disagreements within the party and emphasized a collective approach to the electoral challenges.
Regarding the Devlali seat, Tatkare confirmed that it belongs to the NCP, with Saroj Ahire as the candidate. He assured that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde would work to facilitate understanding among the candidates and local leaders.
Reflecting on Ajit Pawar's extensive contributions to Baramati over the past 30 years, Tatkare remarked that the "Baramati pattern" of development is recognized nationwide. He expressed confidence that Ajit Pawar would secure a significant victory in the assembly elections.
