The Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has introduced a new software called 'Litigation Management Solution' aimed at efficiently managing and planning court cases, claims, and petitions filed against the corporation. The software was officially launched on Monday, 27th January 2025, by Municipal Commissioner and Administrator, Sanjay Katkar.

The software is designed to address the challenges caused by the lack of consolidated information about various cases filed against the Municipal Corporation’s different departments. The legal department represents the corporation in court, but difficulties have arisen due to the scattered data. The newly launched software will allow relevant departments to access up-to-date information about cases in a user-friendly manner, making it easier to process claims or petitions and take necessary action in compliance with court orders. This includes cases related to the Encroachment Department, Public Works Department, Urban Planning Department, and other municipal sectors.

The launch event was attended by Additional Commissioners Sambhaji Panpatte and Dr. Sachin Bangar, Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters) Kalpita Pimple, Deputy Commissioner Prasad Shingte, Assistant Director of Urban Planning Purushottam Shinde, System Manager Raj Gharat, Assistant Legal Officer Pramod Jadhav, and representatives of M. Integrated Web Services Pvt. Ltd.
