MCA Knowledge Centre Program Successful Candidates Felicitated During Convocation Ceremony

Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) maiden convocation ceremony for for the Cricketing-Certificate-Course successful candidates who excelled in various disciplines of the MCA Knowledge Centre program at the iconic Wankhede Stadium was a grand affair.

The momentous occasion  was marked the culmination of an extensive training for fresher’s that was aimed at developing skilled professionals in cricket-related domains and was graced by esteemed guests, including the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, Prof. Ravindra Kulkarni, Padma Shri Dr. Zahir Kazi, and former India cricketer Nilesh Kulkarni, who commended MCA’s efforts in nurturing talent and strengthening the ecosystem of cricketing expertise by providing world class education.

The courses covered a wide range of specializations, including coaching, curation, physiotherapy, massage therapy, strength & conditioning coaches, anti-corruption liaison officers and video analysis. 

The program conducted over a period of various duration witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 4,000 applications received. Out of these, over 150 candidates successfully completed the rigorous training modules and were awarded certificates at the convocation in presence of MCA Office Bearers and Apex Council members.

MCA President Ajinkya Naik while speaking on the occasion in presence of his , MCA President Ajinkya Naik said, "At MCA, we believe in continuously raising the standards of cricketing excellence, not just on the field but also in the supporting roles that make the game possible. Through the ‘MCA Knowledge Centre’ program, we are committed to equipping professionals with the best-in-class training and expertise. This convocation is a testament to the dedication of our candidates and the hard work of our faculty. We look forward to seeing them contribute significantly to the sport in various capacities.”

He further added, “The MCA Knowledge Centre remains a pioneering initiative in enhancing the skills and professionalism of individuals involved in cricket, reinforcing Mumbai’s legacy as a hub of cricketing excellence”.
