No direct connectivity between Panvel and CSMT / Bandra 

Central Railway (CR) has announced mega / special traffic / power blocks o­n its suburban harbour and main sections on Sunday 9th March, 2025.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Chunabhatti  UP & DN Harbour lines

From: 11.10 am to 4.40 pm

Train services will remain suspended on UP Harbour line for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai leaving Panvel / Belapur / Vashi from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm and DN Harbour line special services to Vashi / Belapur / Panvel leaving CSMT / Vadala Road from 11.16 am to 4.47 pm.

However, special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8) during the block period at frequency of approximately 20 minutes.

Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm during block period

B) Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Bandra UP & DN Harbour lines

From: 11.10 am to 4.40 pm

Train services will remain suspended on UP Harbour line for CSMT leaving Goregaon / Bandra from 10.45 am to 5.13 pm and DN Harbour line to Bandra/Goregaon leaving CSMT, Mumbai from 10.48 am to 4.43 pm.

Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm during the block period.

C) Matunga - Mulund UP and DN Main Fast lines

From: 11.15 am to 3.45 pm

UP fast trains departing Thane between 11:03 am to 3:18 pm will be diverted onto the UP slow line at Mulund. These trains will halt at all scheduled slow line stations between Mulund and Matunga before being re-diverted onto the UP fast line at Matunga and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule. 

DN fast line services leaving CSMT from 10.56 am to 3.10 pm will be diverted on DN Slow at Matunga halting as per their respective halts between Matunga and Mulund station and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule. Fast trains beyond Thane will be re-diverted on DN Fast line at Mulund station.

D) Special traffic and power blocks at Kasara station

From: 11.40 am to 12.10 pm (Ist Block) & 4:00 pm to 4:25 pm (IInd Block)

In view of the erection of road over bridge girder (Phase I), the same will affect both Up and Down North East Main lines within Kasara station limits.

Due to these blocks, some suburban train schedules will be altered.

i) Kasara local (N-11) leaving CSMT at 09.34 am will be short terminated at Asangaon.
ii) Kasara local (N-19) leaving CSMT at 1.10 pm will be short terminated at Kalyan.
iii) Local for CSMT (N-16) scheduled to leave Kasara at 11.10 am will short originate from Asangaon.
iv) Local for CSMT (N-26) scheduled to leave Kasara at 4.16 pm will short originate from Kalyan.
