Mira-Bhayandar: The "Ghar Ghar Samvidhan" initiative, organised as part of the Indian Constitution Amrit Mahotsav 2024-25

As a key component of this awareness campaign, a unique event titled "Tribal Walk" was organized on April 21. The walk was held from Municipal School No. 19 at Mashacha Pada to the nearby Adivasi Pada.

The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students, guided by their teachers, who explored the cultural and historical significance of the tribal area.

Speaking on the occasion, Radhabinod Sharma, commissioner and administrator, MBMC, said, “Taking the Constitution to every home is not just symbolic but a real step towards strengthening our democracy,” he said. “Initiatives like the Tribal Walk help us connect with grassroots communities.”

During the programme, participants collectively read the Preamble of the Indian Constitution, fostering a sense of unity and awareness about constitutional values.

Throughout the week, the MBMC successfully conducted a series of events such as heritage walks, quiz competitions, site visits to heritage locations, etc.
