The top eight ranked players from across Maharashtra in the Under 12 and Under 14 age groups are competing in the exciting MSLTA Masters Tournament that is being held at the MSLTA Tennis Courts, based in Mumbai.

The same is being conducted under the expert guidance of ITF Level 5 Coach and MSLTA CEO, Manoj Vaidya, along with coaches Gitesh Awasthi (Navi Mumbai) and Supriya Mallaya (Washim).

The tourney for both these age groups is being played in the Round robin league cum knock out format, wherein the top two seeds among eight players are placed in two different groups with three others. The top two qualify for the semi-finals, with both the winners ultimately making it to the final. The losing semi-finalist on the other hand slugged it out for the 3rd and 4th position.

This high-level competition and training camp also serves as an important preparation for the upcoming Under 12 Nationals in February later this year, which will be hosted at MSLTA. Further the players will be closely observed and trained throughout the event with a view to help them reach their full potential in future tournaments.
