Navi Mumbai News: NMMC promotes 97 personnel, grants career benefits to 203 under 100-day plan

Navi Mumbai: As part of its 100-day action plan, NMMC has promoted 97 officers, employees, and teachers, while 203 personnel received benefits under the revised Assured Career Progression (ACP) Scheme.

The initiative, driven by Dr. Kailas Shinde, NMMC Commissioner, and aligned with the vision of Chief Minister’s Devendra Fadnavis, aims to improve governance and employee welfare. The action plan emphasises clean, citizen-focused workplaces and enhanced online service delivery.

Between January and April 2025, 91 officers and employees from 18 departments were promoted, with 82 promotions taking place on April 11 alone. Another 80 individuals across various cadres received ACP benefits. Additionally, the Education Department promoted 6 teachers and granted senior pay scale benefits to 123 others.

Promotions and benefits covered roles including Deputy Commissioners, engineers, doctors, sanitation staff, and drivers.

Over the past year, the NMMC has promoted 231 personnel and extended ACP or senior pay benefits to 402 individuals.
