An in-depth discussion on the evolving political landscape in Navi Mumbai’s Assembly constituencies

Navi Mumbai: In light of the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections, the Navi Mumbai Press Club is hosting a seminar to analyze the complex political dynamics in local constituencies, focusing on alliances, rival factions, and rebel candidates. Titled "Aghadi, Uti and Bandkhor Ketiya" ("Alliances, Alliances, and Rebel Stories"), the seminar will be held on Friday, 15th November, at 7:30 p.m. at the Vishnudas Bhave Theatre in Vashi.

The seminar will provide insights into the political landscape of Belapur, Airoli, Panvel, and Uran through the perspectives of prominent local journalists. Attendees will have the chance to hear from seasoned reporters such as Vishwarath Nair, Vikas Mahadik, Praveen Puro, Jayesh Samant, Vinay Mhatre, Sanjay Surve, G. Mohiuddin Jeddi, Jagdish Tandel, and Swati Naik, who will share their observations on the shifting alliances, election strategies, and the impact of rebel candidates on these constituencies.

The event, described as a “vigil of democracy” by Navi Mumbai Press Club President Manoj Jalnawala, is intended to foster public understanding and engagement with the electoral process during this critical period in Maharashtra’s politics. Jalnawala will facilitate discussions with the journalists, encouraging lively exchanges and insights.
