NCP's election manifesto promises key reforms for Maharashtra: Pramod Hindurao

The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), led by Ajit Pawar, has unveiled its manifesto for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections, outlining a series of promises aimed at empowering the state and its people. At a press conference held in Kalyan, NCP Vice President Pramod Hindurao shared key highlights of the manifesto, stressing its potential to bring about positive changes in Maharashtra.

One of the significant announcements in the manifesto is the increase in the financial aid under the Ladki Bahin Yojana, with the amount being raised from Rs. 1500 to Rs. 2100. Additionally, the party has pledged to recruit 25,000 women into the police force, signalling its commitment to gender equality and women’s safety. Another key promise is the reduction of electricity bills by 30 percent, along with a focus on prioritizing solar energy development. These measures are set to be implemented within the first 100 days of the formation of the Mahayuti government.

Pramod Hindurao emphasized that the NCP, in collaboration with its allies in the grand alliance, has always made decisions with the welfare of the people in mind. He assured the media that the alliance is focused on making Maharashtra stronger and more prosperous.

On the issue of BJP's Kalyan West Assembly candidate rebellion by city president Varun Patil, Hindurao stated that the party's unity is paramount and that no one is behind the rebellion. He expressed confidence that all candidates from the Mahayuti alliance will be victorious in the upcoming elections.
