Navi Mumbai: Continuing with its demolition drive in Airoli, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) razed unauthorised construction in H-70 at sector 4 in Airoli. This follows after repeated notices went unheeded by the parties concerned.

The unauthorized structure was found to have been constructed by Pradeep Mahavir Yadav without obtaining any permissions

NMMC had warned the property owner to remove the illegal structure voluntarily. However, due to non-compliance, a partial demolition was carried out on April 8, 2025.

The demolition team included Assistant Commissioner and Ward Officer Sunil Kathole, Junior Engineer Sandip Mhatre.

The action was carried out under the directives of Municipal Commissioner Dr Kailas Shinde, with guidance from Additional Commissioner Dr. Rahul Gethe and Deputy Commissioner (Encroachment) Bhagwat Doiphode.
