Navi Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has issued a public notice informing pet dog owners about the mandatory requirement for obtaining a dog license. This directive is in line with Chapter 11- Section 149 (1) and 127 Section 2 (c) of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act, 1949, which is governed by the 'NMMC Dog Tax Regulation 1993,' as approved by Government Decision No. NMC 1692/410/CR48/92 Navi-20, dated 28, 1993.
