In a significant development following the publication of news on December 24th in Newsband, the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC), in collaboration with CIDCO, took action against illegal construction near the Sai Baba Temple in Kopri village.

Under the directive of Municipal Commissioner Dr. Kailas Shinde, the Encroachment Department took action less than 24 hours after the publication of the news. The operation, led by Turbhe Divisional Officer Prabodhan Mawade, successfully targeted the unauthorized structures.
