Over 9.7 crore voters registered in Maharashtra for Assembly Elections 2024

A total of 9 crore 70 lakh 25 thousand 119 voters have been registered across Maharashtra for the upcoming Assembly General Election 2024, according to the Chief Election Officer's office. This includes 5 crore 22 thousand 739 male voters, 4 crore 69 lakh 96 thousand 279 female voters, and 6 thousand 101 third-party voters.
Pune district has the highest number of registered voters in the state, with 88 lakh 49 thousand 590 voters. Of these, 45 lakh 79 thousand 216 are male, 42 lakh 69 thousand 569 are female, and 805 are third-party voters. In contrast, Sindhudurg district has the lowest voter count, with a total of 6 lakh 78 thousand 928 voters, comprising 3 lakh 36 thousand 991 males, 3 lakh 41 thousand 934 females, and 3 third-party voters.
Additionally, 1 lakh 16 thousand 170 service voters have been registered across Maharashtra, including 1 lakh 12 thousand 318 male voters and 3 thousand 852 female voters.
Remarkably, 47 thousand 389 centenarian voters (above 100 years of age) are registered in the state, with 21 thousand 89 male, 26 thousand 298 female, and 2 transgender centenarians on the electoral roll.
