The grand occasion will culminate with the Maha Lokarpan, or the grand unveiling ceremony, on 15th January 2025, marking a significant milestone in India’s spiritual and cultural landscape.

The inauguration will also witness the cornerstone laying of the Cultural Centre and the Vedic Museum, envisioned to showcase India’s rich spiritual heritage.

The event will be graced by several prominent dignitaries, including Maharashtra Governor Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Eknath Shinde and Shri Ajit Pawar, along with renowned spiritual leaders.

Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple, with its exquisite architecture and serene surroundings, is poised to become a major landmark of devotion and cultural significance.

The temple is a manifestation of ISKCON Founder-Acharya His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada’s vision of establishing temples as spiritual sanctuaries for humanity. ISKCON’s global mission, rooted in the teachings of the Vedic tradition, promotes universal brotherhood, peace, and harmony.

The temple complex, celebrated as the “Glory of Maharashtra”, will feature multiple facilities including the Bhaktivedanta College of Vedic Education, Bhaktivedanta Library, Ayurvedic Healing Centre, Gaushala, a senior citizens’ ashram, an organic farm, and community outreach initiatives like Food for Life programmes. Additionally, the Vedic Museum and Cultural Centre aim to preserve and promote India’s spiritual and cultural heritage.

HG Suradas, Temple President, described the new temple as “an oasis and a jewel in the lush green landscape of Navi Mumbai”.

He said, “This temple will stand as a beacon of spirituality and unity, inviting devotees from all walks of life to experience the transcendental power of devotion. It will also serve as a vibrant centre for spiritual and cultural activities, benefiting generations to come.”

The week-long celebrations will feature a variety of spiritual and cultural events, including the installation of eight prominent Acharyas of the Vedic tradition and Dashavatar deities. Devotees can participate in spiritual discourses, Vaishnava Samagams, motivational talks, devotional music sessions such as Bhajan Sandhya and Kirtan Melas, theatrical performances (Natakam), and partake in Maha Prasadam distributed to all attendees.

ISKCON, renowned worldwide for its promotion of spiritual consciousness and community welfare, invites people of all backgrounds, regardless of caste, creed, or religion, to join this historic celebration. The Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple promises to inspire faith, peace, and harmony, creating a lasting spiritual legacy in Navi Mumbai and beyond.
