The Raigad District Athletics Championship was held with great enthusiasm at Ulwe. In this district-level athletics competition, 400 students participated. The inauguration of this competition was done by former MLA and the Raigad District Athletics President, Balaram Patil. Present at this event were Pravin Khutarkar, the Secretary of the Raigad District Athletics Association, along with Dilip Patil, Yatiraj Patil, and various dignitaries from different fields. This competition was sponsored by Jio Institute.

In this competition, the students from the Ekalavya Athletics Academy, JNPT - Uran, also participated. Among these athletes, Bhakti Vijay Bhoir, aged below 18, secured the first position in the Shot Put event with a throw of 8.91 meters. In the Discus Throw event, Bhakti Vijay Bhoir secured the second position. Om Yogesh Patil secured the second position in the Shot Put event, while Dipraj Patil secured the first position in the Discus Throw event.

All these students have been selected to participate in the state-level competitions that will be held in Nasik and Ratnagiri. They have received guidance from national-level athlete Ram Chauhan, yoga instructor Poonam Chauhan, assistant instructor Gunjan Nisad, and Coach Dipak Gharat.
