In a passionate address at a public meeting in Ulhasnagar, MNS leader Raj Thackeray urged voters to take revenge on those who have insulted their political views over the past five years. Speaking at the Antilia Maidan on Friday, Thackeray criticized the practice of electoral bribery, calling it an insult to voters. He appealed to the electorate, urging them to take money from the "election bargainers" but cast their vote in favour of MNS candidate Bhagwan Bhalerao.
The MNS chief's speech was brief, lasting only 15 minutes, but it was full of pointed remarks aimed at the current state of governance. Thackeray slammed the local leadership for the worsening conditions in Ulhasnagar, highlighting issues like bad roads, poor drainage, traffic congestion, and unauthorized construction. He also mentioned the declining state of education and healthcare, where children are sidelined and residents are unable to access proper medical facilities.
He continued, "Despite the promises made in their manifestos, nothing has changed. The development they talk about remains a distant dream for us. For years, we have been dealing with these problems, while the politicians continue to make empty promises."
Thackeray urged voters to wake up from their indifference and make a wise choice in the upcoming elections. He called on them to vote for Bhagwan Bhalerao, who he believes is the right candidate to bring change to the constituency.
The event saw strong participation from MNS leaders, including Sachin Kadam, Bandu Deshmukh, Sanjay Ghuge, Mainuddin Sheikh, Kalpesh Mane, Dilip Thorat, and many others, alongside women leaders and party activists.
