Stand-up comedian Samay Raina was grilled at the Maharashtra Cyber Cell headquarters in Mahape on March 24.

Raina arrived at the Cyber Cell office at 1 PM and was questioned for nearly four hours. Raina was summoned to record his statement with regards to the controversy surrounding the India’s Got Latent show.

A case was registered against Raina, along with fellow comedians Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlani, and Apoorva Mukhija, for making controversial remarks during the show.

Allahbadia, Chanchlani, and Mukhija have already recorded their statements last week. Raina was to appear on February 17, however, as he was in the United States for a stand-up tour, he had requested for an online testimony via video conferencing, which was denied by the authorities.
