The Shiv Sena Mahila Sena has warmly welcomed the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Mahila Vikas Yojana, announced during the state legislature's budget session. The announcement was joyously celebrated at the Shiv Sena party office, Balasaheb Bhavan. The Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana pledges Rs 1,500 monthly financial assistance to women aged 21 to 60, bringing profound happiness and relief to women across the state.

Led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the Mahayuti government has introduced several measures aimed at empowering women. These include a 50% discount on ST travel for women, and the recently launched Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, with a substantial budget allocation of Rs 46,000 crores. Other initiatives encompass free education for girls up to graduation, financial aid for women purchasing e-rickshaws, and the provision of three free gas cylinders under the Chief Minister Annapurna Yojana for eligible families. These initiatives are expected to directly benefit women throughout the state.

The Shiv Sena Mahila Sena has firmly endorsed the government's efforts to enhance women's economic independence. Shiv Sena spokesperson Sheetal Mhatre emphasized the significance of this decision in advancing women's empowerment.

A special celebration was held at Balasaheb Bhavan to commemorate this historic decision. The event was attended by prominent leaders, including Shiv Sena leader Meenatai Kambli, Shiv Sena Secretary MLA Dr. Manisha Kayande, Shiv Sena Spokesperson Advocate Sushiben Shah, along with various heads of women's departments, leaders, and office bearers. The festivities included distributing sweets and lighting fireworks, marking a joyous occasion for all.
