Prepares for Thane Municipal Elections

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader Vinayak Raut accused the BJP of manipulating the democratic process, alleging that their victory in the Thane Assembly elections was a result of "boxes and machinery," a reference to the misuse of electronic voting machines (EVMs).

Speaking at a gathering of party office-bearers and workers at NKT Hall, Kharkar Aali, Raut called on members to leave behind recent electoral losses and focus on the upcoming municipal elections. He urged party workers to counter the "lies of Gujarat" and work tirelessly in regions like Thane and Mumbai to reclaim the saffron flag over the Thane Municipal Corporation.

Prominent leaders, including Rajan Vichare, economist Vishwas Udapi, and Thane District Chief Kedar Dighe, joined the meeting, along with Mahila Aghadi and Yuva Sena workers from constituencies like Kopari Pach Pakadi and Ovala Majiwada.

Raut accused the BJP of using money and power to secure their assembly victory, claiming the win was "not direct but by clinging to power." He rallied Shiv Sainiks, asserting, "Shiv Sena has not ended, and the children of those dreaming of its end have yet to be born."

Rajan Vichare echoed the call for unity and preparation, urging members to honor the legacies of Balasaheb Thackeray and Dharmaveer Anand Dighe. “Let us ensure the saffron flag flies high once again over the Thane Municipal Corporation,” Vichare said.
