Practice exam will be held till 21st January, 2024

In an effort to alleviate the anxiety surrounding the 10th-grade exams and enhance students' success rates, the Shri Ganesh Naik Charitable Trust launched its annual SSC practice exams on January 6, 2024. This initiative, mirroring the SSC Board pattern, commenced at 1:30 pm at the Terna Medical Dental College Auditorium in Sector 22, Nerul. Dr. Sanjiv Naik, the Trust's President, and MLA Ganesh Naik were present at the exam centre, encouraging the students.

Acknowledging the immense pressure and apprehension experienced by the 10 to 15 lakh students appearing for the SSC Board 10th exam annually, the Trust started the initiative with an aim to instill confidence and dispel fear among students. In a noteworthy accomplishment, the trust is also celebrating its 25th year.

The SSC practice exams were launched 25 years ago in 1998 at Airoli, initially comprising only two centers with 500 to 600 students. Today, this initiative draws an annual participation of approximately 9,000 to 10,000 students.

Over the years, more than 150,000 students have benefited from these practice exams, substantially improving their performance in the main exams. Scheduled from January 6 to January 21, 2024, this year's practice exams have witnessed a registration of 9,900 students, representing 85 schools from all divisions of Navi Mumbai.

Unlike practice exams in other Maharashtra districts conducted in one or two languages, Navi Mumbai's practice exams are held in Marathi, Hindi, and English. Mirroring the SSC board, meticulous preparations such as hall ticket distribution, exam centre allocation, question paper preparation, and evaluation are undertaken by expert teachers, setting this initiative apart as a comprehensive practice test unique to Maharashtra.
