Students of NMMC School shine at Rashtriya Bal Vigyan Parishad taluka level

The students of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation run schools have done extremely well at the taluka level of the National Rashtriya Bal Vigyan Parishad. Out of the impressive 424 projects entered at the Thane district taluka level, an impressive 75 projects representing 25 schools within the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) have been selected to advance to the district level.

At the Thane district taluka level, a record-breaking 424 science projects were submitted for the Rashtriya Bal Vigyan Parishad. Among these, an astounding 283 projects have been chosen to advance to the district level. These projects span a wide array of subjects, encompassing critical areas such as health and sanitation, environmental conservation, traditional energy sources, agriculture, food security, and disaster management.

These projects were presented to the Rashtriya Bal Vigyan Parishad under the 'AWS Think Big Space' initiative, a collaborative effort involving NMMC schools, educational institutions like Learning Links Foundation, and AWS in Communities. Consequently, 75 projects created by talented students in grades 6 to 8 from 25 schools have been recognized at the district level.

The Jignasa Trust, with 23 years of dedicated service as an affiliate of the Rashtriya Bal Vigyan Parishad, will be hosting the district-level Congress from December 27th to 31st, 2023. During this event, 75 outstanding science projects from Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation schools will be showcased.
