Theme of the year "Your Decision is Your Responsibility"

Thane Police Commissioner Ashutosh Dumbare inaugurated the "Road Safety Mission-2024" at Tiptop Plaza in Thane on Monday, ushering in a month-long campaign with the resounding message, "Your decision is your responsibility."

The Road Safety Mission, initiated by the Thane City Transport Department, is set to unfold from January 15, 2024, to February 14, 2024. The launch event witnessed the unveiling of a powerful video carrying the slogan "The decision is your responsibility," emphasizing the paramount importance of road safety and adherence to traffic regulations.

In a concerted effort to engage the community, the Road Safety Mission-2024 includes a series of competitions on various subjects organized in schools and colleges. The objective is to effectively convey the message of road safety to citizens and foster a sense of responsibility and awareness. These competitions aim to enhance communication between the police and citizens, making everyone more vigilant and informed about road safety practices.
