This Raksha Bandhan send a Rakhi to your real brothers – the Black Cat Commandos

As Raksha Bandhan approaches, there is a unique opportunity for sisters to send Rakhis to the elite Black Cat Commandos across India. The Black Cat Commandos, part of the National Security Guard (NSG), are renowned for their role as an elite counter-terrorism force under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The NSG was established in 1984 following Operation Blue Star and is recognized for its specialized training and expertise. The commandos are nicknamed "Black Cats" due to their distinctive black uniforms and insignia.

This Raksha Bandhan, you can honour these brave individuals by sending Rakhis to them. To participate, please send your Rakhis in closed envelopes to the following address so that they reach the commandos in time for the festival. Rakhis should be sent before August 10, 2024, to ensure timely delivery:
